Job Description
Directly contributes to and supports sales goals of the agency as communicated from the agency owner to meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growth. This includes new business, cross-sell opportunities, customer service, retention and profit goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Must be licensed in Insurance- Property & Casualty for the State of Texas
-Must have excellent phone, written and communication skills
· Supervises production from Marketing Specialist and Customer Service employees.
- Takes information from customers, inputs data in system, fields calls, makes outgoing calls to gather information
· Provides agent with information on customers for proper underwriting and rating for new accounts
· Maintains knowledge of new products and initiatives by attending regularly scheduled training sessions with all carriers as necessary
· Actively solicits referrals from current customers
· Develops agency relationship with existing clients
· Meets the production requirements & goals assigned by the agency owner
· Maintains up to date monthly sales records and ensures customer files are complete and accurate
· Meets regularly with agency owner and sales personnel to discuss sales updates & product changes
· Performs other duties as assigned
