The Capture Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the capture process for high-value federal contracts. This role involves working closely with business development, proposal, and technical teams to develop winning strategies, manage the capture lifecycle, and ensure successful bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement capture strategies to secure new business opportunities with federal agencies.
- Create and draft policies and procedures for the capture process
- Manage the capture team of four
- Lead the capture process from opportunity identification through proposal submission and contract award.
- Collaborate with business development, proposal, and technical teams to create competitive and compliant proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within federal agencies and industry partners.
- Oversee the development of win themes, value propositions, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare and present capture plans, status updates, and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal acquisition regulations and company policies.
- Continuously improve capture processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in capture management, business development, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in securing federal contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience working with federal agencies, such as DHS, HHS, NIH, NOAA
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using capture management tools and software.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
