Summary/Objective: The Recruiting Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the acquisition of talent to meet our organization’s growing needs. The Lead Recruiter will lead a team of recruiters with input from the Executive Director of Recruiting and is also responsible for performing some recruiting and on-boarding of new employees.
Essential Functions:
- Lead strategic growth initiatives to rapidly recruit high potential staff to Beacon Specialized Living Services.
- Oversee the hiring, scheduling, and conducting interviews, and on-boarding leading to the implementation of high-performance standards among the recruiting team.
- Maintain a positive and empowering environment that both challenges employees to reach their potential and provides for a caring, people-first, atmosphere.
- Coordinates with the ED of Recruiting to find suitable job fairs, schedules recruiters to attend regional job fairs to generate qualified applicants. Maintains a monthly schedule of events, orders swag and budgets appropriately.
- Communicate and assist recruiters with information and supplies for job fairs including working with marketing for updated materials.
- Attends all district and regional staffing calls to provide oversight.
- Assist Executive Director in recruiting policy and procedure updates.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Some Travel Required for Sourcing and Recruiting Efforts- (50%)
Required Education and Experience:
- Three –Five Years of Recruiting experience, and One-Three years of experience in the HR/Management field, specifically training and new employee orientation, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
- Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the areas of employment law, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution preferred.
- Ability to create professional employee communication materials.
- Capable of working well with all levels of the organization.
