We are seeking a dynamic, engaging individual for an Operations Manager, Transportation & Ignite. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Transportation Department
o Leadership and Department Management: Provide guidance and direction to transportation department, establish operational policies, and oversee staff recruitment and training.
o Communication: Serve as a liaison between parents, school administration, and transportation staff, addressing concerns promptly.
o Fleet Management: Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and inspection of school buses. Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure the safety and reliability of buses.
o Route Planning and Scheduling: Develop routine bus routes and schedules. Coordinate transportation services for special events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
o Budgeting and Financial Management: Oversee the departmental budget, including the submission of invoices for payment and ensuring accurate coding for proper financial tracking
Ignite Center
o Ignite Operations: Act as a primary point of contact for member inquiries, feedback, and concerns. Ensure the smooth functioning of the co-working space by managing daily operations.
o Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new members and raise awareness of our co-working space within the community. Use community connections and involvement to develop strategies designed to grow memberships.
o Membership Management: Oversee the membership lifecycle, from initial inquiry to onboarding and renewal, ensuring a seamless experience for members. Monitor membership levels and occupancy rates, implementing strategies to optimize utilization and retention.
o Financial Administration: Manage the co-working space budget, tracking expenses, and revenue streams to ensure financial sustainability. Process membership fees, invoices, and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making and business planning.
GAC Operations and Auxiliary Programs
o Perform other duties as needed to provide support for GAC Operations and Auxiliary Programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in same or related field with at least two (2) years spent managing employees.
- Or, an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Hold a current Georgia Driver's license with good driving history.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills using English. Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, will be noted.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building relationships and fostering community.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods at a desk, sometimes while working on a computer.
- Must be able and willing to work in outdoor weather from time to time.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to read and fully comprehend written or electronic documents written in English with or without vision correction.
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations.
- Must be able to traverse between office buildings/facilities on campus.
