You Will:
Influential position dedicated to the development, implementation, and promotion of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment. In addition, conducts impactful training programs for employees of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities

Supports the implementation of safety policies and procedures to be followed by Company personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal occupational safety and health, environmental, and security requirements, *reports directly to Station Management

Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, facilities, fire prevention, safety, and environmental programs

Confers with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring retraining for employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies

Inspection of organization facilities and operations to detect existing or potential hazards and environmental issues and recommends corrective and/or preventative actions

Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. This includes keeping managers and employees alerted as to the hazards of working

Coordinates, performs, and oversees on-the-job training programs

Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works

Conducts training sessions covering specified areas required by dnata and Customer training matrices for new hire orientation, operations training, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, refresher training, and recurrent training

Participates and supports the investigation of accidents, injuries and environmental incidents and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence to identify root causes for the purpose of developing corrective and preventative actions

Maintain files and records as necessary

Chairs base safety board

Test’s trainees to measure progress and evaluates effectiveness of training

Measures department safety performance and determines trends through a variety of analytical resources

Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods

Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards

Performs other duties as assigned
You Have:
- Associates Degree in a related field, or an equivalent level of education and experience.

Minimum three (5) years of experience in the aviation industry

Possess/maintain a valid State driver's license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations

Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays

Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs

Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operation

Ability to work in inclement weather
