As a Caregiver with KAT Caregiving you will work with our team to provide the best services. We train and support motivated long-term caregivers to succeed. Duties:
- Help with personal care needs, such as dressing, toileting, grooming, and bathing
- Transporting to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry, dishes)
- Keeping proper care logs and reporting changes in condition
- Following client care guidelines
- Caregivers will assist with transfer and mobility
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Skills needed:
- Verbally communicate with family and co-workers regarding care
- Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
- Ability to provide care across a variety of settings, including in-home and day program communities
Requirements:
· Valid Driver’s License w/Dependable Vehicle
· Must have some weekend availability
· Must be able to commute to Black Forest area
· Pass a Background Check
· Minimum of 18 years old
