Hello, we’re an early-stage tech startup developing a new Fintech SaaS platform for restaurants, and we’re seeking a highly skilled VP of Operations to join our team. In this role, you'll navigate through two main phases...
Phase I: 0 – 6 months
Initially, you'll focus on bringing together three distinct teams that have their own managers but need coordinated efforts to work effectively achieving our goals as we launch our MVP. Existing processes will need to be redesigned and improved to support business growth also.
Phase II: 6 – 12 months
Next, you'll transition to a more traditional operations role, establishing the Finance, HR, People, and IT teams. You'll lead these departments and support the CEO in scaling the business, gradually settling into a business-as-usual (BAU) role.
As the business and teams expand, your responsibilities will grow accordingly. Once the departments are running smoothly with scalable processes, you'll shift to a higher strategic level, identifying new opportunities for business growth. Initially, the role demands a hands-on leader focused on execution rather than transformation.
The ideal candidate…
- Experienced in operational leadership and implementing scalable processes
- Good with building teams and thriving in a fast moving startup environment
- You should be a practical leader who can get things done and inspire others to follow your lead
- Proven operational leadership experience in a tech startup or similar
- Strong interpersonal skills and highly personable
- Skilled at accomplishing tasks and rallying people with enthusiasm and excitement for our mission
- Passionate about operations
PLEASE NOTE A SALARY CANNOT BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME. COMMON STOCK EQUITY WILL BE ISSUED AS WE’RE CURRENTLY DEVELOPING OUR MVP AT THE MOMENT FOR BETA TESTING AND CLOSING ON FUNDING. (https://www.walletpayapp.com)
