- We are in seek of our next Manufacturing Plant Manager to serve our Los Angeles, CA apparel manufacturing plant; apparel manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
- Our ideal applicant will have 5+ years' of experience in management at a manufacturing level
- Bachelors degree is required
- Experience with profit loss statement a plus
- Bi-lingual English Spanish speaker is required.
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in one of the following: Plant Management, Operations Manager in a production/product mfg environment
- Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills on managing a minimum of 20 people, with demonstrated successful experience leading a workforce of 100-150 personnel
- Must have excellent skills in short and long term planning for labor, materials, equipment capacities, and overall facility capacities
- Must have strong leadership skills, dedication to build a strong team and have excellent communication and organizational skills; be detailed oriented; have the ability work within a fast paced environment, and be committed to servicing clients
- Strong decision making and being able to quickly ascertain a situation and decisive in solving it
- Must have strong time management skills. Plant Managers face production deadlines, shipping dates and must manage time accordingly
- Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
- Take personal responsibility for overseeing procurement, inventory management, productivity, shipping, quality and timeliness of work

Responsibilities
- Our Plant Manager is responsible for the organization and execution of the daily operations of plant manufacturing operations
- This associate oversees employees, production efficiency, training, safety and strategy implementation
- Shift Hours and Locations
- Practices continuous improvement to drive quality and profit performance
- Oversee the running of Cutting, Manufacturing, Finishing, Packaging, Maintenance, Receiving and Shipping departments
- Work with Human Resources in the hiring, terminations, counseling and coaching of associates
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensures that all safety requirements are enforced. Report any issues to Human Resources or Safety Manager immediately
- Holds production and scheduling meetings and works with other management staff in concert to exceed expectations
- Be a leader and champion for facility compliance standards and facility quality standards
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintain current quality standards
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Be a quick on your feet thinker and problem solver
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Communicates status of jobs to other department managers, stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $87,193.58 - $150,000.00 per year
