Currently, we are looking for a Counter Sales Representative to join our location. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, eager to achieve goals, and able to work well within a group. The candidate who is chosen will be thoroughly trained on product knowledge and will be developed for future success in our company. Job Responsibilities:
· Assist customers as the first point of contact while listening attentively to their needs.
· Identify customer solutions to provide product information, specifications, and pricing.
· Prepare accurate sales orders and provide detailed quotations to customers.
· Process and place customer’s orders in our Eclipse point of sale system.
· Pull, pick, and pack up the customer’s product to build orders.
· Handle customer orders and transaction processes from start to finish.
· Proactively track orders in the computer system for customer and processing efficiency.
· Uphold inventory accuracy though systematic control both physically and within our ERP system
· Liaison between Warehouse and sales team on orders to enhance internal communication.
· Assist the warehouse team with task such as receiving, unloading trucks, and verifying merchandise
· Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
· Categorize and arrange materials on shelves, racks, or bins according to predetermined criteria
· Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment through routine facilities maintenance duties.
· Consistently practice safety and report opportunities for improvement.
Candidate Profile:
· Plumbing and heating experience is not required but it’s preferred.
· Prior experience in sales and customer service is essential.
· Computer literacy and working knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
· Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, climbing, and lifting heavy objects is necessary.
Compensation:
· Compensation is commensurate with experience.
· $25.00 - $29.00
