Job Overview:
Advanced Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time, highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager, RN to lead and manage our skillful, professional, and energetic team to provide exemplary customer service and care to our patients. Our practice continues to grow, and we are looking for a nurse manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical department and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Advanced OBGYN is a premiere OB/GYN practice and has 4 locations in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties in NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the clinical, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure quality and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
- Conduct regular meetings with clinical staff to provide updates, address concerns, and promote teamwork
- Oversee infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections within the facility
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as NextGen) for documentation and patient management
- Conduct utilization reviews to optimize resource allocation and improve patient outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to the clinical staff in complex patient care situations
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practice
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong clinical background, preferably in Obstetrics & Gynecology or a related field
- Experience administering injections and performing other clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make critical decisions
