Responsibilities:
Lead Functional Consultant

The Lead Functional Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing ERP solution design projects utilizing Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain applications for large and mid-sized companies. This role includes leading and providing guidance to Functional Consultants, ensuring successful project execution, and fostering a positive team culture.
The Lead Functional Consultant acts as a consultant and trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and lead Functional Consultants throughout various ERP solution design projects as well as provide managerial oversight to the Functional Consultants as it relates to being their supervisor within the Dynamics practice Organization

Collaborate with Solution Architects to design and implement ERP solutions using Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain applications

Oversee and ensure the successful execution of solution design tasks, including configurations, setups, data migration, testing, training, and support

Provide mentor-ship, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members, identifying opportunities for professional development

Act as a key participant in discovery sessions and contribute to Fit-Gap Analysis for process improvements and system enhancements

Facilitate training, CRP, and UAT phases, ensuring client readiness and seamless user adoption.

Coordinate with the offshore team to effectively manage project tasks and resources

Generate comprehensive FDDs and FRDs, documenting system design and customizations.

Represent the team in meetings with clients, senior management, and stakeholders, providing project updates and recommendations

Advocate for the team's needs and resources required for successful project outcomes.

Foster a positive team culture, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning Get appropriate certifications

Provide expert recommendations to the team lead and client stakeholders on project progress and potential risks

Lead design clarification and future-state concept meetings, encouraging innovation and effective solution design.

Oversee overall Cut-over, Go-live, and Hyper-Care activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system

Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the organization.

Stay updated on industry trends and Dynamics 365 advancements to enhance the team's expertise

Qualifications:
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred

In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 - meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
- Certification in Dynamics 365 for Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail or Commerce
Experience

Customarily has at least 12 years of technical experience

Customarily has at least 7 years of solution design and consulting experience

Customarily has at least 7 years of customer facing project management and client engagement experience

Customarily has at least 1 year of mentorship, design, or project leadership experience

Salary Range
For Chicago applicants the base salary range for this role is between $131, 916.00 - 172,592.00 with a median of 156,643.00.
