- Summary of the main* function/purpose of the position:*
A server is expected to exceed guest and homeowner's expectations by providing timely service, attentiveness to guests’ needs, and making them feel welcome and relaxed while visiting our restaurants. He/she is also responsible for obtaining all knowledge of the menu to provide excellent customer service.
Key Principal duties/responsibilities:*
- Complete the opening/closing checklist
- Follow the company’s non-negotiable by greeting and welcoming guest
- Know all food/drink items
- Process credit card and room charges through a point-of-sale system
- Clear and clean tables as guests finish up their meals
- Keep surrounding areas clean
- Full knowledge of state liquor laws
- Be familiar with the club soft computer system
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Ensure prepared orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Up-sell and relay all specials
- Serve guest orders by retrieving and delivering from the bar or kitchen along with condiments and cutlery needed.
