Job Description:
Position will take place in a dynamic powertrain manufacturing facility. Appropriate candidate will work cross functionally to ensure all manufacturing operations associated with assembly possess the ability to produce to acceptable quality and capacity levels.
Ideal candidate would have a heavy background with E.V or Hybrid Engine production. This position could be remote with travel to Utah.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Identify, root cause and resolve any issues which cause the assigned manufacturing process to miss quality and capacity requirements.
· Development of Operator Work Instructions and Process Flow
· Knowledge of Quality in Station standards and practices
· Ability to transition from prototype assembly to volume assembly practices
· Identify and resolve operator ergonomics issues, or any issue which will cause a production operator not to be able to perform their assigned function safely in required cycle time.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
· Troubleshoot through resolution tooling and equipment issues.
· Support all new launch activities.
Job Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years experience as an in plant Manufacturing or Process Engineer.
· Bachelor degree with a major in engineering or equivalent.
· Knowledge of production machining processes.
· Knowledge and understanding of manual assembly operations.
· Proficient oral, written and computer skills.
· Ability to work well in a cross functional team.
· Ability to excel in a high pressure work environment.

Pay: $65,519.46 - $78,905.16 per year
