The Director of Operations position is the “Lead Ambassador” in charge of all aspects of our programs including personnel, budget, equipment, and deployment. This role works directly with our client and customer to not only deliver daily services throughout the district, but also deliver continual program improvements as well.
This is a great opportunity for someone that has a special blend of maintenance skills, strong leadership, great work ethic, financial acumen, executive budgeting skills, customer service, and business management skills.
We need a leader that will take pride in their employees and community. This is a large, multiservice team (Cleaning/Safe ty/Hospitality) with lots of moving parts. Our most successful leaders are diverse in skills, are versatile in every way, and can quickly work to solve problems. We need independent thinkers with a strong understanding of strategy, project management and deadlines.
Specific daily responsibilities of the Operations Manager may include:
Onboarding and training of all new ambassadors. Create a culture that would make everyone want to join your team! Our Clean Ambassadors, Special Projects Ambassadors and Pressure Washers work hard every day to keep their surroundings squeaky clean and fun! Our leader should be a "people person" that enjoys interactions and building effective teams.
Hands-on working management in the field (Outdoors) to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training on standard policies and procedures.
Continual adjustments to the deployment of resources to match changing needs. This includes resources of the “humankind.” Basically, redeploying according to daily needs. Continual problem identification and solving to improve the quality of the program.
Problem solving is a very big part of what our managers do ...we need an innovator to lead our teams in our downtowns. Reporting outcomes through a variety of reporting channels, including but not limited to: Excel spreadsheets, Kronos timekeeping, budget analysis and …you get the idea.
