ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Riverside, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment, providing essential psychological services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
- Provide counseling and therapeutic support to students, addressing a range of emotional, social, and academic issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student development and well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on various psychological topics.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid California School Psychologist certification.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
