Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner - Sub-Investigator is responsible for safety of clinical research participants and for executing the study in accordance with the study protocol, FDA and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines(GCP) and for contributing to other activities that support Hope Research Institute’s operational goals. This position will enable you to interact with a variety of pharmaceutical sponsors as well as review protocols for participant safety and scientific & operational feasibility. You will ensure proper consent of the participants, perform physical examinations, and review data such as lab work, ECGs, vital signs, and other data that are produced for the study conduct
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)
· Performs clinical-related procedures and/or making important trial-related decisions delegated by the Principal Investigator
· Performs clinical safety assessments and monitoring for study trial participation to include such procedures physical examination, ECGs, vitals, etc.
· Ensuring participant safety
· Possess a thorough understanding of the requirements of each study protocol
· Ensuring documentation of study-related procedures, processes, and events (on paper and/or electronically)
· Promotes the company and builds a positive relationship with study participants to ensure retention.
· Attend investigator meeting, site initiation meetings and all other relevant meetings to receive training on protocol.
· May be required to conduct Phone Call Visits or Telehealth visits
· Adheres to company SOP’s.
· Participate in the conduct of clinical research studies including, but not limited to; industry sponsored clinical trials conducted onsite and offsite at other participating site locations.
· Any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona
- Training in Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support
- Clinical research experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
