POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscape Maintenance Field Manager is responsible for managing all field operations. This position will manage landscape maintenance crews. They will monitor crews’ production in conjunction with contract specifications (budgeted numbers). In addition, this role will help guide and mentor maintenance field staff and assist them when needed in carrying out their duties. They will also be the primary interface between customer and crew.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare efficient crew production schedules based on location and customer needs.
- Work closely with crews to ensure jobs are being done within budgeted numbers.
- Walk job sites with ornamental maintenance crews demonstrating and pointing out what and how things should be done to adhere to company standards and the clients’ preference.
- Visit sites after crews have finished to ensure quality assurance (QCR’s).
- Jobs are to be completed with the highest level of quality.
- Assist crews in completing tasks.
- Contact Account Manager about Irrigation/Turf/PHC issues or concerns on properties.
- Communicate with the Account Managers in regard to questions and concerns customers may have.
- Talk with clients regarding work being performed, taking notes when needed. Contact crew foreman when weather conditions are unsatisfactory for that day.
- Make recommendations to the Director for improvement.
- Maintain safety standards on job sites and ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner.
- Monitor crew member performance and provide ongoing coaching and training as described in the SOP manual.
- Participate in the recruitment and advancement of employees.
- Monitor job sites for cleanliness, safety, and neatness.
- Follow-up by phone call and/or email within 24 hrs. of receipt from customers, vendors, fellow associates, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience of landscape maintenance experience.
- Degree or Certifications in Horticulture or related field a plus
- Exceptional Plant ID skills
- Advanced disease/insect ID skills
- Proficient in Aspire, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite as needed.
- Ability to obtain a Certified Landscape Technician designation.
- Excellent leadership and training skills
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to work beyond a normal 40 hr. work week and on Saturdays.

Pay: $38,617.17 - $46,506.70 per year
