Position entails delivering orthotic devices to patients in a hospital setting in Inland Empire area. This is a part-time opportunity that involves nights, weekends and holidays. On-Call delivery personnel will respond to hospital requests for various bracing devices which will be adequately fitted to patients within 2-4 hours from receiving the call.
Interested persons will be trained on how to perform required functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Examine and evaluate patients need in relation to disease and functional loss.
Perform fitting and execute minor modifications as necessary.
Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy and quality of work.
Instruct patient in the use of orthopedic device.
Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patients satisfaction with devices provided.
Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.
Aid other clinical staff.
Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance regulations.
Skills, Competencies and Experience (Required)
Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting.
Proven human relations skills and professionalism dealing with referral sources, patients, and Physicians.
Ability to work well with and mentor others while meeting individual and departmental goals.
Exhibits strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills through both verbal and written communications.
Ability to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
A team player with overall company goals in mind.
