Job Summary:
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, specializing in tribal law regulations and document management systems.
Duties:
- Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Organize and maintain documents in physical and electronic filing systems
- Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and other resources
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are filed accurately
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Assist in project management for multiple cases simultaneously
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification preferred
- Proven experience working as a Litigation Paralegal in a law office setting
- Proficiency in document management systems and legal research tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately
- Knowledge of proofreading techniques for legal documents
Preferred:
- Real estate experience not required but highly beneficial
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.69 - $30.93 per hour
