Assistant Bakery Manager
Duties:
- Oversee daily bakery operations, including production, inventory management, and quality control.
- Create and implement bakery menus and recipes.
- Train and supervise bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage bakery budget and expenses.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as banquet and catering, to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new baking techniques.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of banquet, hotel, or catering operations is a plus.
- Bartending or coffee experience is a plus.
- Assistant manager experience is a plus.
