COMMAND & CONTROL BATTLE MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS - 1C5X1

Position Summary
As a Command and Control Battle Management Operations specialist, you’re our eyes in the sky. You’re responsible for operating advanced radar and electronic systems around the globe. Performing surveillance, combat identification, weapons control and more, you’ll keep our aircraft and Airmen secure and steps ahead of the enemy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Record and distribute operational information among air traffic control agencies and air defense.
- Conduct mission planning.
- Interpret and react to radar data.
- Evaluate new equipment capabilities.
- Manage and operate Command and Control Battle Management Operations systems.

Qualifications
This is an active-duty position as an Air Force Reserve officer. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED
- General ASVAB requirements
- Knowledge of aerospace surveillance and reporting systems
- Compliance with the medical standards for Ground Based Controller Duty
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license to operate government motor vehicles
- Ability to speak English clearly and distinctly
- Must maintain eligibility to mobilize and deploy worldwide
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
