A leading Aerospace and Defense assembly manufacturer in Chandler Arizona is seeking a Production Lead. The perfect Candidate for this position will be reliable, have a good work ethic, be a team player, and take great pride in building assemblies that help keep America safe.
Weekly Schedule: Full time, Mon-Fri 6:00a-2:30p (overtime as required).
Pay: $23 to $28 per hour
Specific Responsibilities:

Utilize a “Do it Right the First Time” philosophy in all activities.

Provide Assembly Techs with technical and timely assistance.

Work with Production Supervisor and management to monitor and report productivity.

Relay expectations to manufacturing team members.

Ensure all plans and specifications are followed and work is being performed in conformance with the standards of the customer, vendor, and/or the Company in the assembly of all product.

Enforce and administer all Company policies, work instructions and procedures.

Assist Production Supervisor to resolve production and quality issues directly affecting future production or customer schedules.

Evaluate needs in Production for daily assignment of duties (tooling, training, etc.).

Recommend any new, or editing of, work procedures to meet production needs.

Perform In-Process Inspections when needed and properly record required data.

Verify that Job Travelers are being completed correctly.

Manage technician work order levels to keep them productive at all times.

Provide close supervision, support and process verification on new hire transitions from training line to production line.

Maintain a sense of teamwork with all employees.

Look for Continuous Improvement opportunities.
Required Skills:
-
Three to five years of wire harness assembly experience is required.
-
Ability to read and understand drawings, drawing notes, and assembly procedures.

A strong work ethic, an eye for quality, and a sense of pride.

Must know how to read and use a ruler/scale/tape measure/caliper.

Experience using Windows OS and MS Office

Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.

Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
