Residential Landscape Sales Expectations
- As the first contact with the client outside of the office staff, you will figure out the client’s needs, help develop an accurate proposal and give them our price.
- You will provide approved designs to the foremen and crew so they understand how the job was bid and what you envision as a final product.
- You will build and develop genuine, lasting connections with clients, and nurture existing customer relationships.
- During the estimate process, you will measure, calculate, and create project estimates and present them to clients.
- You’ll establish and maintain clear and professional communication with everyone you interact with, both internally and externally.
- You will attend internal meetings and communicate with the office staff and owner for scheduling and sales.
Residential Landscape Sales Skills & Experience

- Strong communication and writing skills
- Experience in the landscaping industry preferred
- Experience in landscape sales is preferred
- Experience in estimating is a plus
- Experience as a job foreman is a plus
- Experience using LMN and/or CompanyCam is a plus!
- Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus!
- Construction Management degree or similar experience or education is a plus!
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with basic software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurability, as you will be driving a company vehicle.
