i35 MarketPlace Animal Hospital is the brainchild of C. Bryan Stuckey, DVM. He graduated from Texas A & M Veterinary School in 1970 since then, he has dedicated his knowledge and expertise to "Quality Veterinary Medical Care" for all pets. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and has served on the Board of Directors. In addition, he served as the TVMA liaison to the Texas Mental Health Association, developing and implementing the first program for impaired Veterinarians. Dr. Stuckey is also a strong advocate and innovator in veterinary emergency care and stem cell therapy. He loves to participate in “Where Learning and Leadership Come Together!”

We seek a skilled, empathic, and compassionate Licenced or Non-Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be crucial in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Your duties will include assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgeries, administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and providing general support to the veterinary team. Duties
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgeries
- Administering medications and vaccines
- Performing laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Taking and developing X-rays
- Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Educating pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry and pet care
- Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
- Experience with animal catheterization
- Ability to perform basic grooming tasks such as nail trims and ear cleaning
- Familiarity with exotics care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required
