AUTO PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TECH: YOUR ROLE
As an Auto Preventive Maintenance Tech, you will begin your day by coordinating with the Fleet Manager and program directors to establish the day's maintenance priorities. You will travel to different program sites across Utah, performing preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lift maintenance, and minor repairs on our diverse fleet. Your responsibilities will also include installing trackers and cameras, ensuring all vehicles adhere to safety standards. Throughout your day, you will interact with program staff and the individuals we support, representing TURN Community Services with professionalism and care.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

1+ year(s) of experience as an auto mechanic

Valid driver's license, current motor vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record

Ability to perform oil changes and minor repairs onsite

Capability to maintain lifts, ramps, and other accessibility devices on vehicles

Must obtain a Braun Lift Certificate (support may be provided to obtain Braun Lift Certificate if not already certified)

Proficiency with Excel, Word, Ride Pilot Lite, and other computer skills

Strong problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork abilities

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Experience working or interacting with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
YOUR HOURS
This full-time role requires travel to various program sites across Utah and is a full-time 30-hour/week schedule. The schedule will be determined as work progresses, with an emphasis on minimizing travel whenever possible. You will collaborate with the Fleet Manager to organize and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring that our vehicles remain in optimal condition with minimal downtime.
