Position Summary:
The Vice President of Multifamily Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, a deep understanding of the waste management industry, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential growth opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Partnerships and Alliances: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company’s market position and revenue potential.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the business development team to drive sales growth. Develop and execute sales plans, set performance targets, and monitor team performance.
- Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, property managers, and other stakeholders. Implement strategies to improve client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
- Contract Negotiations: Oversee the negotiation and execution of contracts with clients, vendors, and partners. Ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Brand Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the company's brand and services. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Financial Management: Work with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor business development expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Analytics: Utilize data analytics to track performance, measure success, and inform strategic decisions. Provide regular reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in the waste management or service industry is highly desirable.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies that have resulted in significant revenue growth.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in market research, data analysis, and financial modeling. Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to secure favorable terms.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
