Estimated annual base pay: $72,300 (minimum) - $90,400 (midpoint) - $108,500 (maximum)

This entry level Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) position has the responsibility to gain understanding of the Quality methods and systems. This position consults with the sourcing team and communicates direction to suppliers on issues such as; quality performance improvement, part approval process, sampling plans, inspection methods, measurement system analysis, statistical process control contract reviews, problem investigations, evaluation of quality systems, and product transition activity.
What you will be doing…
Collaborates with suppliers and sourcing team members.
Manages quality portion of MRB and non-conformance product issues.
Executes basic Quality Engineering tools.
Understands relevant product or customer specifications and regulations.
Maintains corrective action database.
Implements Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) with suppliers.
Schedules and conducts supplier audits based on available data.
Maintains accurate supplier quality records.
Assists in selecting and managing suppliers.
Executes established Quality plan for assigned suppliers and participates in continuous improvement activities.
What we are looking for…
Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) 4 year degree in technical field required
5-7 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process control
Ability to understand principals of AS9100, ISO-9000/2000, QS-9000 and/or TS-16949,
Ability to understand principals of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean Mfg. etc.)
