Job Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will play a crucial role in assisting the Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner with patient care, room preparation, product sales, and various administrative tasks. We are looking for a Type A personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is meticulous with details, and has a strong passion for the aesthetic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner during patient consultations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and clinic areas.
- Perform patient intake.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions.
- Help with the sales of skincare products and aesthetic treatments.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic calendar.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential.
- Follow all clinic policies and procedures to ensure a safe and professional environment.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Previous experience in an aesthetic or dermatology setting IS A MUST.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable with sales and promoting skincare products.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and products is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
