Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
*Administrative Duties:*
* Greet and welcome visitors to our community, creating a warm and inviting first impression.
* Answer and manage the primary phone line, directing calls and inquiries with professionalism.
* Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, taking payments, filing, and maintaining records.
* Support Home Office and different departments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our community.
* Back up for the Executive Director for interviews, tours and assists family members, visitors, and prospective residents.
*Human Resources Duties:*
* Assist in the recruitment process, which may include posting open jobs in Kronos, hosting interviews, screening applicants, and making hiring recommendations.
* Assist Executive Director in conflict resolution and mediate employee issues in a fair and compassionate manner.
* Take the lead in orientation and training for new employees to ensure they are well-prepared to provide the highest quality care.
* Manage most of the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for our staff.
* Work with managers and department leaders to get accurate weekly job openings in order to report to Home Office.
*Qualifications:*
* Preferred experience in administrative support roles and human resources.
* Some knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, conflict resolution, and payroll.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
* Compassion, empathy, and a deep commitment to advocating for elders and fostering a positive team environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and HR software is a plus.
