Who are we and what do we do?
Harmony Behavioral Health is an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy company, providing 1:1 services with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities. We currently offer a combination of in-home services and center based services throughout the Greater Phoenix area with our center being located in North Phoenix, off of the 51 and Bell Rd.
Job Description:
We are seeking candidates that are both experienced and entry-level Behavioral Therapists as well as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s). All therapists receive in-depth training regardless of their background, as well as frequent opportunities to observe and shadow senior team members. HBH provides supervision based on compassion and service leadership. Therapists are trained to meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements for RBT eligibility.
The Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) will be responsible for providing 1:1 direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. In addition to working directly with the client, the therapist/technician reports program progress, maintains data using Central Reach, creates/gathers any required educational materials, assists with parent training as appropriate, and reports progress/concerns to the clinician. The therapist/technician assigned to each client is trained to work with that individual for carrying out the programming and behavior intervention plan.
Therapist Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
- Provide direct client care in a combination of center-based and home-based settings/have reliable transportation.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Assist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
- Assist in preparing client materials as instructed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment at all times.
- Collaborate with a treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, ABA Interns, and co-workers.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
- All of our team members must pass background clearance and TB test prior to working with children and families.
