Sojo manages a national footprint of bricks and mortar facilities across the country in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California and Texas and maintains mobile manufacturing sites in Indiana, Colorado and Utah. All locations rely on high-speed automated lines that support a variety of packaging materials such as registered shrink, top loaded boxes, and side loaded cartons to name a few and incorporate robotics into the assembly process.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for line efficiency and product yield, ensuring production lines are started on time.
Assisting with line/area clearance for removal of previous products, components and foreign materials and assisting with approval of work area readiness prior to use
Perform and document a wide variety of inspections, checks test and samples during the production process
Verify that all materials are staged by removing and saving WIP LPN's as they are used in production.
Ensure all safety rules and regulations Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and SQF practices are being followed, provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) whenever needed to all employees and temporary workers.
Will participate in annual review process and provide feedback to the Supervisor/ Plant Manager on employees and provide on the job training for employees
Will participate in disciplinary actions for employees
Maintain a clean and neat work environment throughout the entirety of the shift
Communicate with all departments as necessary
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Able to create and submit workorders to specific issues throughout the line
Responsible to report food safety problems to their supervisor or with someone with the authority to initiate action
Assist with Root Cause Investigations
Responsible for reporting unauthorized persons on site to their supervisor and/or Manager who will address the situation accordingly
Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Plant Manager
Qualifications:
Ability to lead others and take direction, required
Bilingual Spanish Preferred
HS Diploma of GED equivalent required
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with power tools and hand tool
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
Experience in assembling products required
