AFR is looking for Business Development Representatives interested in using a consultative approach to developing new business to join our team!
Ideal candidates for this role must be curious, confident, have integrity, motivation, energy, and the desire to become the best in their profession while building a book of business with an unlimited, steady, reoccurring (“annuity”) commission structure including base salary. You won’t be just closing deals either. You will be building partnerships by helping prospects see how our solutions can eliminate the issues that complicate their business day.
What you’d be doing:
· Identifying and contacting decision makers for AFR’s products
· Work incoming leads generated through digital marketing, email nurturing campaigns, etc.
· Managing prospective business via Hubspot CRM
· Educating prospective clients via in person or virtual meetings on AFR’s products and services
· Maintaining relationships with key accounts
· Role is 85% inside sales and 15% outside sales
· Quarterly travel to existing territory – up to 15% annually
The skills and experience you’d bring to AFR:
· Minimum 2 years’ new business development experience
· College degree or some college and relevant business development work experience
· Self-starter and fast learner
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience managing a pipeline and tracking sales activities in a CRM
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Ability to build rapport quickly with prospective clients and execute web demos clearly and concisely to educate on AFR’s product benefits
· Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
· Current Texas P&C Insurance License or obtained within 90 days of hire; required
