Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a Telemetry RN to join our team! The Telemetry Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN) will provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms and vital signs. Working in the telemetry unit, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or critical care nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

What can you expect to do as a RN?
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
- Assess patients’ conditions and report changes promptly to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Implement nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient care plans and progress.
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families during their hospital stay.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences.
