CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Summary:
- Responsible for receiving a high volume of customer orders via email, EDI, internet, fax and telephone.
- Professionally answer incoming customer calls and assist them.
- Set up new customer accounts and E-alerts.
- Provide product description to customers as needed.
- Create quotes for customers upon requested.
- Process returns, including returns for inspection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Take incoming and make outgoing calls with a friendly, enthusiastic and positive personality.
- Respond to emails, typing 50 wpm and 10 key experience.
- The ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Some experience with customer support software (Zendesk/Freshdesk) as well as ERP software.
- Eagerness to work with other.
- Must be extremely attentive to details.
This candidate will be expected to perform other miscellaneous duties and department tasks. Industrial, automotive, surface finishing, cutting tool, brushing, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
Monday -Friday-from 6a.m-2:30p.m. / 7a.m-3:30pm / 8a.m.-4:30p.m. Punctual attendance is vital to success in this role.
Education: Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in a similar customer service account management position
