Work, Community, Independence seeks a full time Behavior Analyst who wants to use their training to make a difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injury. This clinical position allows the candidate to support individuals in both residential settings and employment/day programs as well as Deaf residential and day settings. The goal is to have the individuals lead meaningful lives at home and in their communities, and the right team member can help us do this.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in ABA or a related field required.
- BCBA, BCaBA or eligible.
- 1-year experience working in Human Services.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly graphing in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Individuals requiring behavioral supports in Residential and/or Day and Employment Programs.
- Design Positive Behavioral Support Plans (PBSP), write Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and Behavior Modifying Medication Treatment Plans (BMMTP), as well as clinical trainings, using language that can be easily understood by the Direct Support Professionals (DSP) expected to implement the plans/strategies.
- Train strategies included in behavior support plans with Direct Support Professionals at Residential and/or Day/Employment Programs as well as train in de-escalation and restraint techniques.
- Provide feedback and guidance to Direct Support Professionals on the correct implementation of behavior plans.
- Communicate regularly with the operations team, DDS service coordinators and individual’s families or guardians regarding any clinical needs, in addition to current clinical support being provided.
- Participate in various meetings to discuss data and implementation of ISP goals and clinical/behavioral goals.
- Develop, implement, and supervise data collection and fidelity checks for all Individuals who have behavior plans and/or Behavior Modifying Medication Treatment Plans (BMMTP).
- Be on call as part of a rotating schedule.
- Assure compliance with all WCI Policies, DDS, and federal regulations related to behavior plans, positive behavior supports, and human rights restrictions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO and Clinical Director.
