King Global Enterprise Solutions (KGES) is collaborating with Nixon Peabody to recruit an experienced Healthcare Associate or Counsel for our Los Angeles office. This position is part of Nixon Peabody’s nationally recognized healthcare practice, which has garnered accolades from Chambers USA, Legal 500, and U.S. News/Best Law Firms.
Nixon Peabody's Healthcare Practice Group consists of over 80 attorneys spread across 13 offices, managing a wide array of health care legal issues for clients nationwide, including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, accountable care organizations, private equity funds, long-term care facilities, and other provider groups.
Compensation: The anticipated annual salary for this position in Los Angeles, CA, ranges from $325,000 to $350,000. In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may also be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on performance, location, experience, education, and other factors. Please note, this contingent compensation varies and could potentially be zero; the provided salary range represents Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Candidates should possess at least six years of California health care regulatory and compliance experience, specifically with a focus on fraud and abuse issues, compliance matters related to reimbursement disputes, investigations, and business transactions including joint ventures and private equity investments. Experience in managed care and/or life sciences transactions is required.
- Skills: Strong academic credentials, superb judgment, and excellent communication skills.
