Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support eDiscovery data litigation cases
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct discovery and take depositions
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to gather necessary information for cases
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Analyze support requests and determine tools and procedures required to preserve, collect, and analyze electronically stored information (ESI) in a forensically sound manner
- Perform advanced collection, processing, and analysis of collected ESI in accordance with Forensics laboratory and ISO standards; deliver processed data and reports
- Perform required reporting and documentation and maintain chain of custody of computer forensics evidence
- Capable of independently handling complex, large-volume, and novel situations and examinations
- Analyze support requests and determine tools and procedures required to preserve, collect, and analyze electronically stored information (ESI) in a forensically sound manner
- Perform advanced collection, processing, and analysis of collected ESI in accordance with Forensics laboratory and ISO standards; deliver processed data and report
- Expert in the collection, processing, and analysis of forensics-related ESI processing
- Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills
- Proficiency in interpersonal and written communications
- Advanced analytic and analysis skills
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top 50 ABA accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Minimum of 3-5 years of eDiscovery data experience
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation
- Strong proficiency in Westlaw
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Requires a Juris Doctorate and to 10 years previous experience
- Salary Range: Open based on incumbent previous, degree(s) and skill
