Our prestigious client has a 6month contract opportunity for an experienced SNF - Director of Operations.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and manage of a Skilled Nursing Facility. As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading, directing and supporting clinical and non-clinical personnel. You will be responsible for strategic planning, staffing compliance, controlling operating budget, patient satisfaction, performance & process improvement, project management, and business development. Responsible for the delivery of quality care to all residents.
Duties:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Oversee the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business plans
- Monitors and directs patient care activities ensuring the highest quality care is delivered: directs clinical and non-clinical personnel; reviews and approves new hires, establishes controls and standards for performance appraisals; identifies staffing needs of the department and provides for accordingly; remains available, accessible and visible to staff; recognizes staff's achievements and accomplishments and provides ongoing feedback on performance.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Ten (10) years of healthcare experience working in a clinical setting and five (5) years proven experience in operations management, preferably in a senior leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, Effective oral and written communication skills
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Texas, with two (2) years recent Nursing Home experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid compliance requirements
- Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
