Sales Specialists serve as the primary drivers of sales for new schools attending Pali Institute (schools that have never attended previously.) We're looking for someone with proven customer service experience who is comfortable talking on the phone. We need someone who knows that making a sale is about being an advisor, building the relationship and helping the client find the date on our calendar that will work for them. The decision makers you will be working with are teachers, Principals, and school district administrators. Please apply if you have experience or a demonstrated interest in sales.

Summary
Sales Specialist Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
- Generate Sales, meet and exceed quarterly budgeted sales expectations
- Prospect, qualify, and cultivate leads to drive sales and fill available dates on the calendar
- Grow the sales pipeline to meet sales goals using a consultative sales approach (includes cold
calling and email
outreach)
- Write and manage contracts with schools to obtain a signed contract and first deposit
- Complete any additional paperwork required for a sale
- Research schools, current purchasing decisions and connect with decision makers
- Visit schools in person as needed; may require some overnight visits when traveling out of state (covered by Pali)
- Manage leads and customers through the CRM (Salesforce & HubSpot)
- Stay current on existing and emerging school/district standards
- Travel to attend parent nights, fairs, expos, and open houses; may require some overnight trips covered by Pali.
- Manage and complete sales reports and other reports as needed
- Manage and complete company expense reports
- Responsible for the safety and maintenance of any company property and equipment
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales/customer service experience
- Motivation to work in a fast-growing company
- Must be comfortable talking on the phone and asking for commitment to close the sale
- Strong sense of customer service and high level of communication skills via phone/face-to-face
- Strong writing skills via email; attention to detail
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize customers' needs
- Work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team
- Good organizational skills
- Flexibility with schedule and job duties
- Outgoing/Enjoys working with people
- MAC friendly/Proficient with Office and a strong aptitude for technical application
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. (assist with trade show set up, luggage, water, tables, chairs)
- Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
Schedule
Work location - Running Springs, CA
Typically, Monday to Friday (8:00 am 4:30pm). Weekends/evenings can be required from time to time for trade shows/conferences/parent meetings.
Salary and Benefits
- $18-20/hour w/ bonuses the average sales rep will earn 45K-70K yr with top reps earning $80k+/year.
