We are searching for caring, qualified professionals to join the Sanctuary team for full time support at our facility in Phoenix. Our professionals put client care first by providing hands-on care to individuals with varying degrees of mental illnesses and/or developmental disabilities. BHT’s perform a vital, front-line function in all healthcare settings as they observe, treat and interact with patients. These professionals provide support to encourage the progress of patients.

Behavioral Health Technician Responsibilities:
- Helping clients with their personal hygiene, such as bathing and keeping beds, clothing and living areas clean.
- Observing clients to detect behavior patterns and reports observations to medical staff.
- Monitoring perceptions about and adherence to suggested treatment.
- Recording symptomology over time to ascertain the utility of interventions.
- Writing medical and suitable referral notes, as required.
- Staying warm, engaged, and receptive as you work with others to facilitate healing.
Behavioral Health Technician Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma and one year related experience in a care giving or educational environment; hospital, school, day care, special education or autism.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team style environment.
- Applicants must be physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for a challenging career experience.
- Current TB test
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card is required
