Position Overview:
The Transmission Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical power transmission systems.
This individual will work closely with the civil and mechanical engineering teams to ensure proper construction and operation of transmission systems. They will also collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and distribution systems, as well as project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power transmission systems
- Collaborate with civil and mechanical engineering teams to ensure proper construction and operation of transmission systems
- Conduct studies and analysis to improve the efficiency and reliability of transmission systems- Work with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of transmission systems
- Monitor and analyze grid operations to identify and resolve potential issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field- 3+ years of experience in electrical power transmission
- Strong knowledge of distribution systems and grid operations
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Professional engineering license is preferred.
Associate Engineer - All of the duties described above except as modified below:

Minimum one (1) year of relevant engineering experience is required.
