POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Amazon Marketing Coordinator to join our team, focusing on managing our presence and marketing efforts on the Amazon platform as well as supporting various tactical and strategic marketing projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon's ecosystem, including both Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) models, and possess the skills necessary to drive sales and enhance our brand visibility on the platform. This candidate will play an important role in creating, managing, and optimizing Sponsored Ads on the Amazon platform. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations and tasks for Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ad placements within the Amazon self-service platform.
In addition to Amazon, this position will directly support additional marketing projects and strategic initiatives and report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer.

OBJECTIVES
- Actively manage, monitor, and optimize product listings on Amazon, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and keywords
- Coordinate with the operations and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless inventory management and fulfillment, including monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers for FBA products
- Drive results on Pay-Per-Click (PPC) within the Amazon platform and regularly report improvements and trends to our marketing team
- Setup and optimize new and existing PPC campaigns on Amazon
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and ROAS and/or CPA while suggesting and executing ongoing optimization strategies to hit and exceed assigned KPIs
- Create and track Lightning Deals, Coupons, and Promotions on
- Implement and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads, to increase product visibility and drive sales
- Monitor Amazon's A9 algorithm and performance metrics, such as search rank, conversion rate, and click-through rate, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Collaborate and work closely with the design team on updating A+ content, creating sponsored video ads, and re-creating storefront
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop Amazon-specific marketing initiatives including promotions, coupons, Lightning Deals, and other strategies to drive traffic, successfully launch new SKUs, and generate sales
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and optimize product listings for increased discoverability and organic ranking (using software like Helium 10)
- Support the coordination and placement of products at Amazon fulfillment centers around the country while also finding innovative and creative ways to minimize placement costs and shipping expense
- Ensure all of our product labels, listings, and product descriptions comply with Amazon’s guidelines for FBA and FBM
- Stay informed about changes to Amazon's policies, algorithms, and best practices, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify areas for optimization
- Provide regular reports and insights to management on Amazon's performance, including sales trends, competitive analysis, and advertising ROI
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback on Amazon and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns to maintain a positive brand reputation
COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Amazon Seller Central and Shopify, as well as social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools
- Understanding of how paid media across Meta, TikTok, and Google impacts Amazon and other sales channels
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, design aesthetics, and a customer-experience-focused mindset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations to leadership
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Slides, etc.)
- Experience with Amazon Brand Registry and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) is a plus
- Familiarity with third-party Amazon seller tools, such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or Sellics, is preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in e-commerce marketing, with a focus on Amazon
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon’s Seller Central platform, including experience with both FBA and FBM models
- Experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is preferred
