We are looking for a full-time Grant Writer to help write coherent, organized, and compelling proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for you to apply your knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals. He/She/They will collaborate with team members in the organization to assist with other fundraising projects and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

How you will help us to be successful:
· Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization
· Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies
· Collaborate with Program Directors and agency leadership to identify grant funding opportunities
· Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization
· Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals
· Maintain internal database and update status of all grant-related activities and submit reports related to grant opportunities in a timely manner
· Partner with Director of Development to send funders newsletters, progress reports, consistent touch-points and to promote on-site tours
· Collaborate with Finance team to track receipt of grant awards
· Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders
· Maintain qualified status for JCC on relevant municipal databases
· All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2+ years of experience in grant writing
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising processes
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Strong ability to communicate in writing and orally
· Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
· Multitasking, organizational and time management skills with adherence to strict deadlines
· Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity
· Strong analytical skills and attention to details
