Description:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position includes all customer service responsibilities, such as order entry/maintenance, answering phones, customer emails, and greeting in-person visitors. In addition to that the administrative assistant will assist the president, controller, and vice-president with any business-related tasks needed. This position requires a person to be very detail oriented.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurate customer order entry and order maintenance
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Addressing and responding to customer emails
- Greeting in-person visitors
- Aid and support to the company president, controller, and vice president
- Interface with Customers or vendors as required to maintain account accuracy
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- Running errands as required
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license in the state of Pennsylvania

Minimum of two years working in an office environment
-
Read write and understand English
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Possess communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data/information

Possess computer skills in Microsoft Windows 10/11

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel

Ability to remain in a seated or standing position for long periods of time

Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure as needed

Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Self-starter, ability to work independently
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Digital dexterity and eye/hand coordination in the operation of office equipment

good close-up vision and not color blind

Light to moderate lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.

Ability to speak to and to hear others on the telephone and in person

Capable of learning to use typical office equipment

Performing simple to moderately complex mathematical calculations
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Working hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Starting and ending times can be flexible within reason.
