Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month, quarter, and year-end close.
Prepare materials for presentation to the Board of Directors, management teams and external stakeholders.
Provide accounting support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary.
Daily reviewing and recording of bank transactions.
Focus on reconciling cash, capital assets, and enter/reconcile general journal entries.
Review, recommend changes, and enforce all accounting policies.
Supervise a small team of accountants.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
Review manufacturing variances, scrap, and cycle counts weekly.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during yearly review.
Coordinate all tax filings including income tax, sales/use tax and property taxes.
Maintain a clean and safe work area consistent with Company’s housekeeping policies.
Serve as a backup for Human Resources for payroll processing.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting
4-6 years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing cost accounting environment
Effective communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, written, and presentation.
Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
Experience establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
Experience with Manufacturing ERP software – SAP B1 a plus.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong user of Microsoft Office, including Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
