Summary: The Associate is responsible for effective customer service for all customers and external clients by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of Harpak-ULMA’s products and systems. Achieve customer service objectives by maintaining responsive communications with clients and timely turnaround times.
Time Utilization: Full-time position. Normal business hours 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Compensation: Commensurate with previous experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
1. Pick parts, pack parts, and prepare shipping documents for orders.
2. Work together with other Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Answer incoming telephone calls, emails and faxes and provide timely and accurate information to clients relating to parts order status and product knowledge requests along with follow-through until resolution in a professional and accurate manner.
4. Process customer parts orders/changes in Great Plains according to established department policies and procedures.
5. Work with clients on spare parts lists and kits.
6. Provide timely feedback to the manager regarding service failures or customer concerns.
7. Continuously work towards meeting and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue sales goals.
8. Contribute to the work environment that fosters team pride and promotes personal growth.

Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in business desired. A minimum of one-year customer service experience or equivalent work experience required. Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) are required. The Associate must have the ability to work with frequent interruptions and be customer serviced focused. Excellent attention to details is essential. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. Prior food packaging equipment experience would be a plus.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write general correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with all levels of management and clients. Ability to effectively establish rapport and respond to questions from internal employees and external clients.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures including percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define issues, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and act accordingly.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite and Windows platform. Experience utilizing Great Plains and MS FileMaker Pro is highly desirable.

The work is performed in a warehouse setting. The noise level is moderate. May have limited exposure to warehouse environment which may involve additional elements of increased noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, etc.
