JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate must have a thorough understanding of mechanical system distributions for industrial/commercial applications to be installed by mechanical contractors. This is a unique position seeking a mechanical engineering candidate that can support our Nashville, TN mechanical operations primarily working out of Troy, MI but with occasional travel to our Nashville Office and or Job Sites.
*This client will not interview anyone who has worked in the automotive industry as a Mechanical Engineer -- they are looking for someone who has worked as a mechanical engineer for an Electrical Contractor*
· Please note that this position would be hands on -- although design work is involved, being on-site and seeing projects come to fruition is also a requirement
Travel: minimal
Percentage of Travel: 10 – 20%
What locations: Visit job sites – MI, OH, IN, TN, other locations as required
Must Have:
· Mechanical Engineering Degree (not mechanical technology)
· Candidate must have 5 years minimum experience (not looking for candidates with 25-30 years\\\' experience) with mechanical contracting company (preferred) and/or Architectural/Engineering firm
· Revit - need to be able to hit the ground running
· Strong experience with piping (hydraulics, pneumatics, conduit, etc.)
Nice to have:
· PE (Professional Engineer)
Interview Process:
· First interview will be with SRG (phone screen)
· Second will be with VP of HR (phone call),
· Third interview will be with VP of Engineering (Microsoft Teams or in person)
