ROLE SUMMARY
CorePower Yoga is looking for a social media contractor who is responsible for concepting, publishing and QAing all content across social platforms and ensuring 100% accuracy. This person will assist our marketing team in engaging and growing our social media community through community management, relationship building, and reporting.
The position reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and is based at CorePower Yoga’s Studio Support Center located in Denver, CO or Remote. The contract requires 15-20 hours/week with the opportunity to extend to full-time in 2025.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Social media development & publishing:
- Coordination of the creative process for all social deliverables including concepting, creative ideation, providing constructive feedback to the creative team, with ability to execute quick content to stay on trends, pending the creative team bandwidth
- Collaborate with Marketing Intern on scheduling and publishing content across all social platforms: Instagram, Facebook (including Facebook Local), X, Pinterest, LinkedIn and any other social platforms that are added to the marketing mix. Includes real-time posting of content when necessary including manual posts on weekends.
- Collaborate with TikTok Content Creator - review/approve review content and leverage on other channels
- Ensure all assets are in the correct file format with accompanying copy and tracking links
- Take initiative to track down answers to problems as needed and proactively provide solutions to the team
- Stay on top of social media content trends and platform changes
- Preschedule content where possible using our publishing platform, Sprout Social. Assess Instagram grid preview and highlight any issues with content flow and make suggestions for improvement
- Adapt to changing priorities and trends quickly and strategically, problem-solving to present the brand in the best possible way outwardly to our social audience
- Create and present briefs for all social initiatives, including monthly social content and social media tactics in support of key business initiatives
Social media management:
- Collaborate with and support the Customer Experience Team in managing and developing appropriate responses to social comments and DMs and triage to relevant internal teams as needed
- UGC management – update database, outreach, track permissions
- Content Creator and Creative Team management to get optimal social creative for initiatives
- Manage submissions to Giphy
- Manage social giveaways – select and contact winners, arrange for prize delivery, etc.
- Suggest additional ways to engage with and grow followers
Tracking and Reporting:
- Ad hoc reporting on social activities, results, creative performance, etc.
- Create UTM trackers for marketing campaign reporting
- Monthly reporting by social channel
- Compile key learnings month-over-month and highlight actionable insights that the creative team can use in content development
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of Marketing and Social Media specific experience. Must have hands-on experience in a social-specific role for a large brand or agency
- Strong creative writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Ability to stay organized and attend to details
- A self-driven, team player who takes initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Affinity and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, yoga and fitness
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.; knowledge of Asana, Sprout Social, Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Analytics is also useful
- Experience in Canva or other creative tools preferred
- Must be able to work in a stationary position, move and walk around event and office spaces, and lift occasionally up to 25 lbs
