The Digital Solutions department is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer. This position shapes processes, architecture, and organizational data management throughout the data life cycle by integrating core systems into a robust data warehouse system. Ensures cohesive digital infrastructure throughout Clean Water Services (CWS) by leveraging Extraction Transform Load (ETL) and ELT processes, cube development, dimensional design, and performance administration. Oversees regulatory data compliance policies that adhere to Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency controls. Supports data governance, management, and security.

Collaborates with analytical and business teams to improve data modeling integration, business intelligence tooling, data accessibility, and broker data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Implements scalable solutions that align with our data governance standards and architectural roadmap for data integration, storage, analytics, and reporting.

Develops a standardized data integration and data quality framework. Writes quality control validation unit test for integration and ensures functionality and documentation of work.

Coordinates with business partners for troubleshooting or enhancements that pertain to data-related processes or issues. Assists leadership staff in responding to operational issues in emergencies.

Builds and maintains a central repository of integrated data from one or more disparate sources with modern practices that adhere to industry standards.

Maintains a positive, engaged, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture within the department to improve the work groups’ understanding and recognition of diversity in the workplace and foster multidisciplinary and integrated team approaches.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:
The following are the minimum qualifications for this position;
3 years’ experience with a relational database, cloud database, No-SQL database architecture;
Or
3 years’ database management, traditional data pipelines, analytical pipelines, or integration;
College coursework in computer science, programming, database design, and administration, or related field.
AZURE data certification preferred.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
