Overview:
Exceptional opportunity for a finace professional to join the executive team of a distinguished medical practice with a national reputation. The Retina Institute is one of the largest and most prestigious groups of retina surgeons in the country. While it primarily serves a large geographic area in and around St. louis, Missouri, it also attracts patients with complex retina diseases from all over the US and has a large and active research subsidiary focused on studying retina disease and evaluating vcutting edge treatments.
The Chief Financial Officer is an essential member of the Executive Committee that includes the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer and three physicians assigned to the Executive Committee by the Board of Directors. The Executive Committee manages most of the affairs of the corporation through a participative management process, and the Chief Financial Officer is specially responsible for the staff and work in accounting, purchasing, accounts payable, revenue cycle, payroll, benefits administration, productivity data analysis, and risk management.
At aminimum, this position requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and five years expeerience in a similar role in a physician owned medical practice.
